Resources for teachers and young futurists
It is our plan to develop and offer free teaching resources for school teachers and college professors - or the students themselves - to use in lessons. As we develop these resources, please use the ones listed below and feel free to contact us to suggest topics you would like us to develop.
The Future City Competition - "The Future City Competition is a national, project-based learning experience where students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade imagine, design, and build cities of the future." Resources include rubrics and past winners.
Teach the Future - Teaching resources for secondary, collegiate and professional schools. "Teach the Future commits to the rather audacious goal of identifying and supporting at least 1,000 teachers and administrators who are teaching the future in their classes or who want to begin doing so." Includes a resource page of articles and presentations.
World Futures Studies Federation - "The aim of the Online Centre for Pedagogical Resources in Futures Studies is to develop an interactive global repository that will act as a hub to gather, store and interlink the diversity of futures pedagogical resources being created globally (including school, undergraduate, graduate, professional and lifelong learning)." Includes a page of futures pedagogical resources.
